The two new PRO kits boost the efficiency of workshop operations

Continental now offers two timing belt kits specially designed for the VW Golf 8 – one with water pump and the other without. The two PRO kits also contain the matching oil pump belt and all the small parts needed to ensure straightforward installation at the workshop.

The Golf 8 ranks among the best-selling cars in the compact class, with over one million models already to be found on Europe’s roads. Consequently, the new PRO kits have a very wide range of application:

The PRO kits in detail

Some engines require a belt for driving the oil pump in addition to the timing belt. Continental is therefore expanding its range of PRO kits, which contain both belts as well as all the small parts needed for fitting them (pulleys, bolts, nuts).

PRO kits containing the letters ‘WP’ in the product name additionally include the OE-quality electrically adjustable WP6140 water pump manufactured in Germany, along with the requisite seals. This allows all parts to be ordered in one go, even for more complex jobs, thereby facilitating workshop operations.
