Replacement of tie rods in record time

For speeding things up at the workshop: inner tie rods (Ø 30–43 mm) can be removed and installed directly on the vehicle with the help of TOOL BOX STE01 – without even having to disassemble the steering gear. The tool’s open design allows it to be easily positioned directly on the tie rod, without first having to remove the outer part that is often seized.

Thanks to the specially developed eccentric mechanism, the shape of the joint’s outer profile is irrelevant, no matter whether it is flat, square, hexagonal or circular. The high-grip contouring ensures the tool remains firmly in place and doesn’t slip while working, even when applying a lot of force. It features a standard ½-inch square-socket drive.
